I watched when the Board of County Commissioners voted to divert $36 million in CARES COVID-19 relief funds, before Commissioner Blumert could even take her seat. Our Board of County Commissioners must hold itself more accountable to their constituents and their needs.
Public Health & Safety
As a member of the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office Community Advisory Board, I have worked towards establishing the highest level of accountability with our County Government. I've seen firsthand the positive impacts our County can have on public health & safety.
Our County has continuously put infrastructure at the bottom of its priority list. From utilizing unused space in County buildings, to thoroughly addressing our potholes and unmaintained county roads, our Board of County Commissioners could be doing so much more.
